I'm having the same problem as emergeko. This isn't a Fed Ex issue, it is a Verizon issue. At the top of the Verizon Wireless site where it says Order Status is where we are getting the error "We are experiencing technical difficulties, please check back later".
This whole process is very frustrating. This is my first purchase with Verizon and will probably be my last. Like the other commenters have said, it isn't the fact the iPad 2 is delayed, it is the lack of information (and the fact my credit card has already been charged). The only solid information I have is what is mentioned on your Twitter site (Orders placed on 3/11, 3/12, 3/13 and 3/14 are expected to be shipped 2-3 weeks from the order date).
Yes I got my iPad 2 late Wednesday morning. The only way that I was able to track it was by calling 611 on my Verizon phone. I ordered the iPad 2 in the store on Friday, March 11 a little after 5:00 pm.
You are correct. That is how the number is listed when I was tracking my package.
Should we start to track a list (in the OP?) of when people ordered and when they received?
