Everytime I'm on a call, if I hold the phone up to my right ear, I hear this faint buzzing spazzing in my ear. If I switch to the left ear, it's completely clear and fine. SO WEIRD. I can still talk when its on my right ear and I can hear people just fine its just this little faint buzzing almost ticking noise. Anyone else have this? Will it go away? Thanks!

As for why your iPhone is buzzing, I never had that experience when I owned iPhones. Is it a
steady buzz or

I saw where you said it was a steady ticking noise. I would let the Apple folks look at that, the Verizon folks wouldn't have much experience diagnosing iPhone issues just yet.
Good luck, Geri O

Hey Guys,
I just got my verizon iPhone and I'm having the same exact issue as the OP. It's a slight steady ticking noise and it's driving me nuts. At first I thought it was maybe a bad coverage area but it seems to be happening everywhere.

Get in front of a mirror and make the call. If you hear the buzzing noise, check to see if the screen is lit up. That's the only time I hear that buzzing noise is if the screen is lit. This means that you are not activating the proximity sensor when you hold your phone up to your ear. I hate to sound like Steve Jobs but hold the phone differently against your ear and the screen may turn off.
The fact that you are noticing this in one ear and not the other indicates that it is because of the way that the phone is held against that ear.

I just compared it to another Verizon iPhone on the same family plan in the exact same situations side by side. And the noise im hearing is only noticeable on my phone. it's a really faint clicking noise that's barely audible but I'm kinda OCD about things like that.
The only difference between the two phones are that mine is 32gb and the other is 16gb. Which phone did the OP have?

Apparently this seems to be an issue with some iPhones where if you are connected to a wifi network, you will hear the same ticking noise that I hear.
When i turned off my wifi the ticking noise goes away.
