Thanks for replying, I'm glad to hear that it does work at least for some people. I just got a replacement iPhone (for a different reason entirely) and unfortunately the problem still exists. When my friend on the droid receives a picture txt from me, all he gets is my txt message, and then an icon for an attachment (no image preview). When he clicks it, all that happens is that a 5 second video (remember, I sent a photo) pops up of a blank screen. I'm thinking the problem is on his end, but I have no idea where to go from here. Any other thoughts?

not sure but maybe it could be the size of the picture you are sending, I know when i had a droid x it had to re-size everything. if you are taking the highest quality pics and sending them it may not be re-sizing them down. try taking a pic at lowest quality or something and sending it.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. Once a Droid X receives a picture message, the user sometimes will need to touch the blank box to download the picture. In this situation, the issue does appear to be on the Droid X. To narrow down the issue, we would ask your friend is does this happen just with pictures from you, all pictures, or some pictures from other numbers. I would be happy to further troubleshoot with your friend.
Please have your friend send me a private message with his wireless number, contact number, and the best time to reach him.
Thank you,GinaH_VZWSupport

Sorry for the wall of text, when I hit post it took away my paragraph breaks...
Next time you post and want a paragraph break, hold down the shift key when you hit "Enter".
Works for me.

My entire family has this issue. We did a *228 to update our phone. Press 2 for the update. Then we reset our phone by turning it off for 10-20 seconds. After that, we tried to send another pic/text to a Droid. It took a minute, but it sent it. Now the text pictures go right away! Hope this helps!
