Verizon "Backup Assistant" Fail!

This is an FYI to anyone relying on the Verizon "Backup Assistant" to protect their contacts.

DO NOT TRUST IT!

I had a contact with multiple email addresses of type "Home". When "Backup Assistant" synced, only one email address was copied over.

Also, changes made on the website won't sync back to the phone.

I've tried Verizon support, but their solutions are "Soft Reset", "Hard Reset", reload, blah blah.

All of which I had already done my self.

(falls off soap box)

Use Gmail for backing up your contacts and read:

I had all sorts of problems with Backup Assistant until I was able to disable it.

backup assistant is nice when all you have is just contacts - I don't feel like it actually backs up everything. Just primary contact info.

Like Breezex said, use Gmail. Come to the darkside. It's just so easy, and so free.
