Monthly Unlimited Prepaid Plan

Having used Boost Mobile, Metro PCS and Virgin Mobile prepaid plans, the adage "you get what you pay for" is absolutely true. My concerns about the Verizon prepaid plan is not one of cost (I gladly surrender.) What I need is a monthly prepaid plan with unlimited calling and texting. I want to pay a fixed rate. I am not interested in "data," or calling outside the US. Also, I want to be able to access my voicemail whenever I need to, without additional charges. Does Verizon have a plan to fit my needs?
If so, what is it called? If not, what concession do I need to make?

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/splash/prepay.jsp This is for the prepaid monthly with what you want its expensive. Check the site out and see what fits your needs.   The prepaid Daily with unlimited voice would be $3.99 only  on the days you use  or receive a call plus a $20.00 text package.

Thank you for responding. Sorry, I did not articulate myself better. I did not submit a Post without reviewing the options. It was after viewing, that I concluded I needed the help of someone, with more expertise. The options you presented...I am sure are viable. However, what I would like to have is a "fixed rate" that provides the services I need unlimited talk/text (regardless of nights/weekends) in the US and unlimited access to my voicemail. Again, I sincerely thank you for your suggestions.

If you go to the link Minniehaha provided and click on "Shop Now" under the type of phone you'd like to use with a "Monthly Prepaid Plan" you can view the monthly prepaid plans.

For this example, click on "Shop Now" under "Feature Phones," then click the "Talk & Text" tab at the top of the next page (since you want unlimited texting included).  You will be shown the monthly plans that Verizon offers which include unlimited texting, as you can see there, unlimited talk and text is $94.99/month.

Verizon's monthly prepaid plans are identical to their postpaid plans, except that they cost $5 more.  The only reason to use them is that you do not have a strong credit rating and don't want to pay the deposit on a line on postpaid service.

The unlimited Talk & Text (post paid plan) would give you unlimited calling minutes within the US and that would include access to your voicemail, and unlimited texting - for $89.99 plus taxes per month. That's a "fixed" rate too - bring your own phone and you will be on a month to month basis and can cancel at any time.

Buy a discounted phone and you will be under contract for one or two years, but the amount you pay will be the same each month, $89.99 + taxes and fees and they may vary by a few pennies each month. The same goes for month to month or pre-paid accounts.

Besides saving you $5 a month over the pre-paid, you can see your calling details (numbers, dates, times, and durations of the calls) and testing details (dates, times, numbers involved, not the content) online. It seems that information is not available with a pre-paid account . . .

You stated - "what I would like to have is a "fixed rate" that provides the services I need unlimited talk/text (regardless of nights/weekends) in the US and unlimited access to my voicemail." The unlimited pre-paid at $94.99 or the regular account for $89.99 would both give you that. A regular account requires a credit check and may require a deposit; bring your own phone and there is no contract, buy a discounted phone and commit to a one or two year term. Pre-paid involves no credit check, and you are on month to month from the start, but no calling or texting details are available, and it costs $5 more a month.

Those are your options as far as Verizon plans and what you want.
