I can send texts but I am not receiving texts.

I can send texts to other people, and I have WATCHED them text me back and I never recieved the text message.

I get UNLIMITED texts and have had this phone and sent texts out and everything, and recieved texts before this weekend.

My bill is paid in full.

So seriously, whats going on because this is pretty annoying.

Try calling *228 and choose option 1 to reset your phones 1's and 0's.

Also insure the sender is using your 10 digit phone number to send a text.

Are you having this problem with a certain number and/or carrier? Do you have any blocks and/or usage controls on your account? Do you have good signal when not receiving the messages? 

Try these suggestions also:

• Power cycle your device. (Turn your device off for a few moments then power it back on.)
• Dial *228, option 2 to update your PRL (Preferred Roaming List). This should be done once every 90 days. 
• Make sure the sender is sending the message to you in a 10-digit format, without a 1 in front of your area code.
• Make sure your inbox/outbox folders are not full.

This is also happening to my wife. She can receive texts but half the time her sent messages don't make them to me. Out of the 6 texts she's sent me today only 2 made it to me. I had her update her roaming and I updated mine, but still no luck.

I'm wondering if it could be a particular phone issue? I have a LG EnV Touch and she has a Samsung Reality. We just got these phones about 2 weeks ago.

I'm having a similar problem. I can send text messages but rarely receive texts from anyone else. I also have an EnV Touch. This just recently started happening.

Sane Problem with Samsung Fascinate.  I had a Blackberry Storm two weeks ago an didn't have any issues. Sane person texting and received all of them within seconds, now I receive them 10 minutes later or hours later. Very frustrating.  Is it Verizon wide, or only on certain phones
