How do I unblock Premium Messaging?

Im trying to unblock premium messaging, and ive read everything on the website and its all about BLOCKING it. im trying to get a ringtone from myxer.com, and its cool with my mom. im 17 and my names on the account at the same level as her so i can change things without having her there and stuff and yeah its just frustrating because the website doesnt even cost anything. but yeah. i need help.

When myxer sends you a ringtone, it is NOT a premium message, it's MMS - a text message with a sound file attached.  The only thing that would prevent it from coming through would be if you had a total data block (national access block) on the phone, and that would stop picture messages too.  If you do have the national access block, you'll have to call customer service to remove it temporarily to allow myxer to send you the ringtone, then call in again to put the block back on.

Did you try phonezoo to see if the same thing happens?  If it does then have the main account holder call to check on the blocks just to see.  If no blocks and other texts come in fine then that is strange.  You could make your own ringtones in audacity and send them from your e-mail to phone as a text,  tha'ts how I do it.    Mary

You can do as Mary says and try from another provider.  I just sendt a ringtone to my phone from myxer, and it came through with no problems.  ANother option is to have myxer send it to your computer via email, then YOU send it to your phone from your email  (send it to your#@vzwpix.com), so it isn't coming from the myxer site, if that is indeed the issue.
