Text won't go through to ONE person only

I have one friend on Verizon who can text me, but  when I text him back it does not go through.  The messages are checked denoting that they have been sent, but they are never delivered. We have been trying for about a week now with no luck. I also am trying to text him from the Verizon web text page, and it says that the mesage was accepted by the network but it still has not been delivered and it has been 40 minutes now. I'm guessing the issue is on his end somewhere but don't know how to proceed, he says I am the only one he's having this issue with also......................

Do you know if the other party has any text blocks or restrictions setup?

I'm having this problem as well.  My business partner (also a Verizon customer) recently got a new phone (blackberry).  Ever since, she cannot open any text message from me (although she receives them), and cannot send text to me.  Calling works fine.  She has checked to be sure I'm not blocked in her phone, and she has tried to delete my contact info from her phone and re entered it.  This has only been happening since the new phone (like 3 weeks.)

I understand your concerns about text messaging not working to one person, and will be happy to assist. Erika6133, are you able to make or receive calls from your friend? kimkin, if you can get your friend set up here on the forum we can work with them to get the issue resolved.

Yes I can call him and he can call me. He can text me and I can reply to his texts, and they say they've been sent, but he never gets them and they never show as "delivered" on my phone. He does not have me blocked. He has a Palm Pre phone. I texted him from online and he got it but that's it.
