i am hoping to retrieve some voice messages I deleted from my cell. is there a way to do this? I also will be signing up for YouMail, it looks like fun. But I am wondering if I'll be able to maybe get the deleted voice mails off of that when I sign up.
see, I saw somewhere on the verizon site where you could pay 10 bucks for previous voice messages and then 5 bucks for every one after that. Does this go for deleted messages?

You will not be able to get the voice messages back once you get YouMail unless of course a court order is involved.

You Mail starts when you sign up - if you have any saved voice messages on Verizon's system, that's where they stay. If you have deleted them then you will need to contact Verizon to see if there is any way to retrieve them.

Well I would think if you need a court order for deleted texts you would need one for deleted voice mails too. I have never heard you could pay to get back voice mails, where is that info? Mary

To get a court order, technically speaking you would have to pay for that.

Our selected vendor, CBW Productions, Inc. offers Verizon Wireless customers an inexpensive way to permanently archive selected voice mail messages:

- The service is available for messages in any language.
- All messages are treated as confidential information.
- Once messages have been archived, CBW retains a backup copy for a period of 90 days from the date the order was placed.
Notes:
- The archival service is not available for deleted voice mail messages.
- The archival service is not available for text messages.

Ok so if you don't delete them off of voice mail then you can have a copy of them on tape? Interesting, never knew that. Mary

I called the service and was told there is no way to get a voice mail back after it's been deleted.
