While 30% battery usage is normal depending on the screen/display settings, we can definitely work on minimizing that percentage used by your screen/display. Amber, I'd call customer service and have them swap the phone out. I use a V10 as well, and it does not get hot at all. That's definitely not normal at all.

I have but since my screen has a tiny crack by the front camera's they are wanting to charge me $300 on top of the price of the phone.

ive dealt with LG 2 times......i know the route you need to go as i did, and RMA it as i did, and not get charged, if defective on its own. i wish there was private messaging here.

call lg customer support. numbers on lg site...talk to them, say you want to RA your device, they will give you thru email prepaid shipping label and ra number, then pack device, send away, wait for reply on device progress after they get it, and you can track progress online. be ready for 2 week turnaround. thats best i suggest. been thru this twice. not once charged.
