I'm sorry to learn your phone met the toilet, price64. It's likely that the water has damaged the ports, although it was only for a short time. If you have insurance, I recommend filing an insurance claim for a replacement. http://spr.ly/6583BdGOF

Hi Thank you for answering my question. I had powered off the phone and
since I don't have the insurance I just let it sit for 48 hours to dry
out. Then I charged it and it powered on. So far (knock on wood) all is
working perfectly- It's only been a couple of days. Hopefully it lasts
another year...but any additional usage I can obtain from the phone is less
money I will have to pay to buy out my Edge contract if the phone dies or
is unusable in some way. I did read that mineral deposits will still have
probably caused some damage and my phone could stop working any time.

sorry but option be start saving money or start looking for used phone or keep asking friends who might selling old phone...one year is long time just make yourself ready don't wait for last moment. try not to spend a lot just in case in year nothing happen.
