I currently have an old HTC Incredible2 (3G) with an active Verizon account. I want to purchase a LG G3 (4G) phone from a friend who has just upgraded to a new LG G5 device. Can I just simply go to a Verizon store and get a Free 4G Sim card.? Activate it with my account info. and go.? Without any new contract? Are there any fees for this? I hope it is this simple.. Thanks for any replies!

You can get the SIM card for free from a corporate store. A retailer will charge you.
It shouldn't affect your account or change your plan. It won't initiate a new contract on your line. There won't be any upgrade fee as you are not buying a phone there.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
