New Android is not receiving all email and bad signal..

Is anybody out there having connection issues with the new Droid phone?  I had mine less than one week when I had to have it replaced because of lack of connectivity.  I was in a Verizon store and the Droid I received only had ONE bar on it.  The second one that I now have is now going through the same issues.  I am sitting here while email is coming into my PC but not my Droid.  Any suggestions with the exception of the *228 update which I have done?  Thank you.

Well the best thing I would suggest you do after that point is to check your coverage in your area. Perhaps it isn't as great as it may be in other places. If you find out that you're *supposed* to have good coverage then I would say exchange it for yet another one.

You may have just got unlucky with two faulty devices.

It seems as if I have another "defective" Droid unit because the connectivity is very bad...again.  Now, I also have the email issues that some other users have.  Email repeatedly coming back after deleting; dead spots on the touch screen with this "new" device.

Evidently, after reading some of the other blogs on this site, I am not the only one with these issues.  Why can't Verizon or Motorola for that matter, take care of these issues before all of the Droids are returned and Motorola goes out of business?

Just a thought.
