My Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid microphone doesn't seem to work, but only sometimes..

It works after I restart the phone.

I can hear them, but they can't hear me with speaker on or not.

try a battery pull, maybe two or three times.  if that doesnt work then you might want to exchange it, could be a bad phone. but try the battery pull first

If will's method does not work,then you do have 30 days to try out a phone. You can then exchange the phone for another new different phone or same new phone.
