I have a Motorola DRIOD TURBO. I don't see the setting to turn off "Wi-Fi

assist". Can you guide me?

Also, I just checked my on line data use. While I was sleeping (my phone

automatically turns on to my home wi-fi when I am here), data use shows WO

events of 0.00001 GB. Why is the phone doing anything data related while

it is simply on and charging?

Thank you again.

You have an android phone and you responded to an Apple discussion thread. Your issue has completely different steps and you should check out the discussions in the Android space or the DROID Turbo space to see if anyone else had a similar situation.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Emoney250, let's get you some information that will assist with your device. While only the iPhone will actually have this wi-fi assist option in the settings, the Droid Turbo does have some great options. If you go to the Apps, Settings, Data Usage and then scroll down the screen, you will see how that data is being used. As the phones will fluctuate between wi-fi and cellular data based on the strength of that wi-fi signal, one great trick that I use is turning off the cellular data when I am connected to wi-fi. This way, the phone remains on that constant connection and moving to another area in the house does not bounce me to the cellular data connection.
