How do I find a device if I left it in a cab?

I left my phone in a cab, and I did not have the app to lock or locate my phone downloaded.  Any suggestions on how I can use the GPS or something to locate it?@

I'm not familiar with windows phones, do they require you to have a gmail account linked to them? If so you can use this:
