The condition is you must use the device payment plan, not a 2 year contract.
I have heard different stories from VZW reps about this offer. I have a current upgrade available on my account, I have a perfect condition VZW smartphone to trade-in (meets all stated qualifications), I want to stay on 2-year contract with my current tiered data plan for my line on my family plan. I had 3 reps say that I qualify for the $200 trade-in offer for the Note 5. Two of those reps I called about a week apart to confirm that this deal is in place and that I can get it. The third was mid-process, but the call dropped. I called back in, got yet another rep and she said I don't qualify. Frustrated, I just dropped it.
Can anyone from VZW say conclusively one way or the other if I qualify?
If I qualify, who can I call to work with on this?
