Why does the signal strength show so low in the 48103 area? 3G This is Ann Arbor Michigan

The signal strength in our home area

4288 [removed]  is at 1 bar maybe two

also it is now mostly 3g and not LTE

Why is that?

It stays that way until I am on I94 & Wagner Rd.@
