My grandson's phone all of a sudden is asking him for a backup pin and he never was prompted to create one. Now he can't use his phone because he cant get past the initial window that requires the backup pin to continue. Any thoughts?
was rescue password setup in gmail??

We're sorry to hear about your grandsons device, but certainly here to help. Unfortunately when the pin would be unknown you would need to reset the device to factory defaults in order to reset the security settings.
