Everytime I dial *288 it says call can not be completed as dialed

how do I connect my LG to the internet when no wi-fi is available ? I was able to do this until i ran an update on my phone

As a consumer myself who depends on Wi-Fi, I can understand your concern. We are here to ensure your phone works as it should especially after a software update. Does this happen everywhere you go including public Wi-Fi networks or in specific locations? What LG model phone do you have?
