verizon message error 0x800713ec - Asia on win xp .....cant install verizon message program on my computer

I have a Droid Turbo. I want to download the message program for my xp computer. I received the error 0x800713ec - Asia.....the program will not install. I want to adjust the text message settings on the phone.

W1JWN, I want you to be able to take advantage of the Verizon Message program on your computer. Have you been able to clear the internet cookies, cache, and history. Then once those are cleared out then try to re-download the program again from this website: http://spr.ly/6580f0yK messages:Top

Maybe it's because you're using XP. You do get that Microsoft stopped support XP in April 2014. Time to move on past XP.

  Though Microsoft discontinued support for Windows XP that doesn't mean that you can't continue to install programs. Millions are still using XP. The question would be what are the system requirements for Verizon Messenger+

  I've not run into that particular error myself but this might be worth a try.

More and more companies are not supporting XP. Google will stop supporting Chrome on XP at the end of the year. No point in making a program work with XP. As I said time to move on.

ohplease99, I have worked with Microsoft operating system software and hardware extensively and you have no idea what you are talking about. Pertaining to .msi files or anything regarding a Windows operating system. You basically have a smartphone, and know nothing, about Windows software.

  Can it install on a 64 bit Windows OS or does it require a 32 bit system? Can 32 bit software be installed with a 64 bit operating system? Of course you don't have a clue on that, so until you know what you are talking about, with Windows, don't post.
