my keyboard resized to tiny. How do I get it back to full size?

Click on the gear on the LG Keyboard.  You can adjust the height there or by dragging the bar up or down.

Yes it is a button on the keyboard, I have a note 4 and it is the microphone button next to the space bar shared with the microphone, to get to it I have to long press the microphone and it pops up a menu of options including a gear icon.

That mic/gear/penicl/note icon will stay until a new icon is chosen by long-pressing.
