Hi! Will be visiting Vietnam next month and want to take our iPhone 4s. In U.S. we have a nationwide plan but only want to use the phone in WI-FI areas on our trip. Are we guaranteed no roaming charges if 1) we keep the phone in Airplane mode and 2) we turn off cellular and voice data? We don't want any surprise/shock charges....Your comments are appreciated!

Vietnam sounds like a nice trip! Let's make sure there are not roaming charges. If you turn off your celluar data and place the phone in airplane mode you will not have to worry about any surprise charges. Only connecting to Wi-Fi will definitely do the trick! Have a wonderful trip.
