My iPhone 4 did the same thing just yesterday - 12/09/13. I was on the phone with Verizon tech support later that evening. They were stumped, so they transferred me over to Apple Tech Support. After a few hours of trying various resets with a senior Apple tech, it still wasn't working - he was also stumped. I called Verizon back after Apple and they are sending me a new phone. It should be here tomorrow!

I just had this problem with my iPhone 5s. Turns out that it was a hardware problem and I ended up taking it to an Apple store to get it replaced.

My iPhone5 has no service! It just keeps searching then puts a little o where it is supposed today LTE. It searches and searches but finds no service. My wife's phone is exactly the same but it works fine. I've had this phone about two months. I did a network reset and took outlander placed the SIM card. This stinks!
