I just purchased an LG Cosmos 2, and in the process of getting familiar with my phone, I turned on lock mode. Now I want to turn it off -- having to enter the 4-digit code before being able to do anything is WAY too cumbersome.
But HOW? How do I turn off lock mode?
Can't find anything on the verizon site or in the manual -- just how to turn it on. Help!

I found this for the Cosmos. Maybe it's the same for the 2. Go to Settings & Tools > Phone > Security. After entering your lock code, choose Phone Lock Settings and select Unlocked.

That pathway is exactly the same with Cosmos 2, and I have "unlocked"
check, but I still have to enter the codes to log on, make security
changes, etc. I've tried switching it to "On Power Up", exiting, then
going back in and switching it back to "unlocked". Still the requirement
for the pass code. Aggravating.

Try using the last four digits of your cell number.

Thank you! Entering the last 4 digits worked on my [antiquated] LG Cosmos. It may work on other LG models when, like me, I DIDN'T enter a lock mode. Verizon Store said I was out of luck - needed to get a new phone. Hmmm....$$$$? It's another way for them to make $$$$. I hate going to a VZ store! Took me waiting 20 mins. just to get that answer. Thanks again!!

You're welcome; glad it worked.
