Yes, this is an irritating and EXPENSIVE bug. I have a prepaid NET10 phone and anytime someone with Verizon and an IPhone sends me a text message, I pay to open the message, then have to pay again to open the text attachment. As others have said, the message can be just a single word. It has NOTHING to do with message length. It takes twice and long and costs twice as much to recieve a text from an IPhone with Verizon.
