Is AT&T better than Verizon overall? They're both expensive companies so I know I will not be winning with price. Does the iPhone work better being with AT&T? The LTE is crappy on my iPhone and I am not switching back to an android just because the LTE was better on the S4 I had.
Verizon has better LTE coverage overall. However they cannot be better than other companies in every location. It's possible that where you are located AT&T has better coverage than Verizon. To answer your question directly, no. AT&T is not better than Verizon overall. I would check with AT&T and see if they can offer you better LTE coverage where you live.
Let's look further into this Pnhtricey! What zip code are you located in? Do you notice your LTE is spotty only in a specific area (indoors only)? Try powering the device off, remove/insert the sim here http://vz.to/1bPJKGX test share. Thank you.

I had the Verizon i5s for almost a week and also thought the reception was poor and it was using up data at an abnormally high rate. I cancelled service, returned the phone and went back to ATT and got the HTC One android phone instead and so far I'm very pleased with this phone, reception and 4G data speeds. Everyone I know urged me to switch to Verizon and get the new iPhone, but it was a failed experiment. I'm located just outside of Ft. Worth, TX and for me, ATT is working out better.
When I had my 4S it worked great on Verizon (here in Hawaii) and I never had nearly as much issues as I have now with this 5S. Right now i'm in hawaii and to be honest I dont think any phone company has super great service here. I haven't notice any data issues, but my mom has been noticing her data being used up on her 5s. You could always get the iPhone for At&T too. I don't think the new iPhone is a hit with Verizon right now....
